My final project during my Foundation Art & Design course was a study of the hidden emotions and "other" selves we disguise by presenting an outer mask to the world; the facade we want people to see and accept. As someone who has suffered from depression and has relationships with people suffering from addiction, bipolar disorder and OCD, it was an intimate and emotional exploration. These images are self portraits which led to the final piece - an abstract combination of three images manipulated in Photoshop.
